The Cardinal to Cardinal medium distance race sailed on Sunday 20 October started in what can only be described as fantastic sailing conditions with a light to moderate SW backing to a moderate to fresh SSE as the day progressed. Malgas & Struan had good starts, however Malgas been under pressure for some time given her refit of new canvas and rigging plus a clean belly, stamped her intentions at the drop of the flag and maintained the lead for the remainder of the race.
