As the Vice-Commodore, Sailing, Mark lives ABYC’s ethos of ‘Fostering Sailing’ by:
- Arranging our club yacht and dinghy races and regattas
- Coordinating the activities of our Sailing School (Novices & Advanced classes for children & adults)
- Creating learning opportunities for our members
- Encouraging non-sailors to join in our sailing activities
- Leading the Sailing Committee
- Liaising with other sailing clubs
- Leading the redevelopment of our Sailing School
- Contributing to the SAS Eastern Cape Activities
