pink protest

29 September 2021

Really? The cops are charging them with disorderly conduct and trespassing? Why? They don’t look like they are disorderly or trespassing.  Are the right-wing fucks who protest in front of libs houses ever arrested?

Seven people were arrested after climate change protesters hauled a pink sailboat with “Climate Emergency” painted on its side to the front of Governor Charlie Baker’s Swampscott home and refused to move, State Police said.

Six people who had chained themselves to the boat and a seventh person who had been sitting on top of the boat were arrested, according to State Police spokesman David Procopio. “The protesters are being transported to a State Police barracks for booking; the boat is being removed from the roadway,” he wrote around 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The protesters are facing charges of disorderly conduct and trespassing, Procopio said, and are expected to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon in Lynn District Court.
