As the Honorary Secretary of ABYC, Rodney Idris is responsible for:
- Being the official point of contact for Club correspondence from outside agencies
- Sending official correspondence on behalf of the Club
- Attending the Exco Committee meetings providing a report
- Producing the agenda for the Exco Committee meetings
- Taking and distributing minutes of the Exco Committee meetings
- Sending out notices of the AGM and SGMs to Club members
- Producing the agenda for the AGM
- Taking minutes at the AGM and SGM’s
- Membership matters
- Ensuring that any disciplinary processes are conducted within the club’s rules
- Commissioning updates to the Club’s Policy Statements and Procedures for Exco Committee approval.
