Welcome to the 2nd edition of the new Halyard
Thank you to all who attended the Back to Basic’s – Putting Y back into AB C last Monday. It is the start of the process, now let’s keep it going. To that end let’s all continue to think about the issues raised and (at the risk of minor disagreements in the bar!) discuss them over a pint.

An appeal to all to “Let’s get sailing”
We have a wonderful facility in the Algoa Bay Yacht Club and we as members are both privileged to be able to use it and bear a responsibility for it’s growth and well being. Without sailing it would become nothing more than a social club and the access to the water would be lost. As a club we need to encourage more sailing members, both keel boat and dinghies, but this can never happen unless the existing members get out on the water and sail!
So let’s do just that; “Let’s get sailing” – weekends, Wednesday nights, any odd day you have spare or even just a few hours – “Let’s get sailing”
Social News
