Overall Results: 5o5 Pre-Worlds Results R1&R2
Today, 27 March is a measurement day prior to the start of the 60th 5O5 SAP World Championships on Saturday 28 March.
ABYC members are encouraged to slip from moorings at 10h00 on Saturday morning as the Port has organised to have tugs lead the fleet of 5O5’s out of the harbour and in a traditional welcoming of the fleet they will spray water cannons.
The conditions for Saturday and Sunday have abated somewhat from earlier predictions with the Windguru saying that the following conditions will prevail this weekend:
Saturday: 8 knot east at 11h00 rising to 13 knots at 20h00, peak gusts at 22 knots with a 2 metre swell, warm 20 degrees centigrade and no cloud cover.
Sunday: 9 knot east rising to 13 knots at 17h00, peak gusts at 18 knots with a 1.7 metre swell, warm 23 degrees centigrade at 14h00 and no cloud cover.
