This race for female helms and/or skippers was held on Sunday 22 November. There were five competing yachts, with a few she-males and a kilted Scotsman adding to the colour. The race was sailed in fresh SW winds, which made for fast tacking at the starting line. A collision at the start saw Fling retiring, with the four remaining yachts enjoying a fast sail around the Ngqura Harbour entrance port lateral mark.
