On 26 March 2015, the local media were treated to a day at the SAP Sailors Lounge – especially erected for the 60th SAP 5O5 World Championships sailed out of the Algoa Bay Yacht Club from 23 March to 3 April 2015.

ABYC and SAP hosted members of the media to a press conference on 26 March 2015. Held in the Sailors Lounge erected specifically for the 60th SAP 5O5 World Championships, members of the media were treated to a breakdown of the impressive sailing analytics and broadcast cubes. After an exquisite lunch a number of the media kitted themselves up in extreme Sailing foul weather gear and were taken out to the final race of the pre worlds being sailed off of Cape Receife.

The media will be well taken care of on the ground and electronically at the 60th SAP 505 World Championships from 23 March to 3 April 2015 as SAP will be providing rights free images, audio, video, content, results and analysis on a daily basis.
