The ‘around the corner, next to the NSRI‘ staff ablutions have been spring cleaned by the Rum Club tinkerers.
Warwick and his boys report that they have:
- Washed all the walls, the loo window and ALL doors
- Cut 6 rounds out of the main meranti door as air vents and air now screams through
- Bought 12 plastic perforated covers for the holes and siliconed the covers in place – this has created cross flow ventilation as is per standard
- Fitted a new shower curtain – a spare from Lee
- Fixed the legs of the narrow melamine table
- Erected a NO SMOKING SIGN
- Have cleared the lane and chucked ALL the junk away
According to Warwick; “It is now a facility to be proud of although it still smells a bit dank, which the airing system will soon sort out and make more pleasant.”
Thanks to Ronlandile & Veronica for assisting.
