If you have any Abandoned Assets in the Port

27 February 2015

The Port of Port Elizabeth has given all tenants official notice that they have identified potential abandoned assets in the Port of Port Elizabeth that pose operational, health and safety risks to all port users.

The Port has served notice that he owners of these assets are required to remove them from TNPA premises by no later than 20 March 2015, failing which TNPA will regard them as abandoned assets and will take all necessary steps, as provided for in the National Ports Act of 2015 and the Port Rules, to remove these and apply the proceeds to defray all costs incurred thereto.

Before removing the assets from the Port you will be required to produce positive identification, proof of address and proof of ownership prior to being allowed to remove these assets.

The Port Manager, Rajesh Dana says that this is a final notice and no further notices or requests will be issued hereafter.

A copy of the official notice is on the Club Notice Board.
