ABYC Bar Specials

The ABYC Bar specials continue on Thursday 2 October.

The specials on offer are on Hansa Pints Brutal Fruit and Gin – on a ‘buy one get one free’ basis.

The fun lasts for two hours for members from 5:00  to 7:00 pm.

Non-members qualify for the ‘buy one get one free’ special from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.

Thursday Specials

This Thursday the ABYC Bar specials will be a two for one on Gin, Brutal fruit and Hansa Pints.

Members get to enjoy the specials from 5:00 pm and the public from 6:00.

Specials end at 7:00 pm.

Look out for specials from the Chartroom Restaurant as well.

Please diarise Sunday 14 September for the sailpast at 12h00 and the bring and braai afterwards. Braai packs will be available if needed. Sunday also marks the 55th year of ABYC’s existence.

It is traditional for boat owners to dress up their boats for the sailpast. The sailing Commodore will lead the boats in single file past the Commodore, President and Invited Guests.

The Port Elizabeth Windguru is predicting a light 6 knot North East at 11h00 moving to a light 6 knot East South East at 14h00 with high cloud cover, a 1.5 metre swell and temperature of 22 degrees – ideal conditions for sailing, braaing and dinghies to join us at sea. Along with all the yachts taking part a safety boat and Lloyd Edwards Raggy Charter boat will be available in case of need.

Thursdays Happy Hour Specials

Coming up this Thursday, 4 September are the following two for one specials; Richelieu, Castle pints and Brutal Fruit – buy one get one free.

These specials start at 5:00 pm on Thursday for MEMBERS and at 6:00 pm on Thursday for NON MEMBERS.

For those who only did Maths Lit the above means that MEMBERS get two hours of joy and that NON MEMBERS only get one hour of joy until 7:00 pm.
